Last updated 19 October 2026. In short: the voice demo hears you so it can answer you. I record each call and keep the recording and a written transcript for up to 12 months to improve the agent. Email me and I’ll send you your call or delete it.

The voice demo

When you press “Talk to my agent”, your browser asks for your microphone. If you allow it, your voice goes to my demo agent, live, so it can answer you. Calls end after 3 minutes.

  • Each call is recorded and saved as a text transcript, with a short summary the agent writes at the end: what kind of business you mentioned, which voice platform you use, what’s going wrong and what you’d like to do next.
  • I listen to and read them only to see what visitors ask and to improve the agent. I don’t sell or share them, and I don’t use them for ads.
  • I keep them for up to 12 months, then delete them.
  • Please don’t share anything private on the call, like a client’s name or phone number.
  • You can ask for a copy of your call or have it deleted at any time. Email me the day and rough time of your call.

Who handles the call

The demo runs on a self-hosted voice platform, on my own server at Hetzner in Germany. The recordings, transcripts and summaries are stored there.

These providers process your voice or its text to answer you during the call:

  • Speech-to-text: Deepgram
  • Language model: OpenAI
  • Voice: Deepgram
  • Searching my notes for the right answer (embeddings): OpenAI

Deepgram and OpenAI are based in the US, so this part of the call is processed outside the EU.

Keeping the demo fair

The demo has a daily limit on the total number of calls, so a busy day can’t run up costs. It doesn’t count calls per person. Like any web server, the agent’s server may log your IP address. Those logs are deleted within 12 months, like the calls.

Booking a call

The booking calendar is run by Cal.com. It loads only when you scroll to it, and Cal.com receives what you type when you book. See Cal.com’s privacy policy.

Analytics

This site counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies. That’s why there’s no cookie banner. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser only.
